How to Use
-
This soothing formula does leave a slight white residue due to the Zinc Oxide. It is recommended to use it primarily on diaper area on challenging days, but your first line of defense should always be fresh, dry air and giving the skin plenty of time to dry in the air between diaper changes. After a good long break, apply the 911 butter onto the skin. Does not need to be a thick layer. Majority of it will absorb into the skin and nourish it from lower layers and up. The Zinc Oxide remains on the surface to protect and speed healing process by reducing the inflammation. The antiseptic and astringent properties of Zinc Oxide work together to help reduce the risk of bacterial infections by reducing the skin’s permeability and thereby obstructing the path of bacteria before they can adhere to or become internalized by the body. This allows for the faster healing of minor burns, superficial wounds, and warts. Zinc Oxide is commonly found in baby care products, such as diaper rash creams and powders, in soaps, in sunscreens, and in foot powders for its ability to form a protective barrier on the skin. It is an ingredient that is known to address the itching, burning, inflammation, redness, dryness, peeling and pain that is characteristic of skin complaints, such as bites, dandruff, acne, eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, and rashes. This butter can also be used on inflamed areas of the skin such as mosquito bites. Always batch test all cosmetics.
